General Introduction
The limestone ball mill is a rotating cylindrical shell half-filled with grinding media. As the shell turns, the balls cascade and crush the limestone fed through the trunnion, discharging ground slurry or dry powder at the other end.
It is the most established fine-grinding machine: simple to operate, tolerant of hard and abrasive feed, and easy to reline. With a classifier in closed circuit it produces consistent filler and cement-raw powder.
For plants that already run ball mills, adding a limestone ball mill keeps maintenance, spares, and know-how common across the site.
