Heavy Hammer Crusher is a primary crushing machine that uses massive rotating hammers to shatter large, soft-to-medium hardness materials in a single pass. It can accept feed sizes up to 1000mm and produce finished aggregate in one stage, eliminating the need for secondary crushing equipment.
The crusher features a heavy rotor with large hammers that generate enormous impact force. Material is shattered by direct hammer impact and further crushed against the breaker plates lining the crushing chamber.

Working Principle
The Heavy Hammer Crusher uses mechanical force to break down large rocks into smaller aggregate pieces through a precise crushing process.
- Large material is fed into the crushing chamber through the wide top opening, often by a heavy-duty apron feeder.
- The spinning rotor accelerates the hammers to high tip speed. Hammers strike the material with enormous kinetic energy, shattering it instantly.
- Fragments are thrown against the breaker plates lining the chamber walls, receiving secondary impact crushing.
- Material continues to be struck by hammers and breaker plates until particles are small enough to pass through the discharge grate openings.
- Sized product exits through the grate and is conveyed to the next process stage, while oversized material receives additional crushing.
