The wet material is sent to the hopper by a belt conveyor or bucket elevator and added from the feed port. The main body of the rotary drum dryer is a slightly inclined and revolving cylinder. When the material enters the cylinder, it is dried by contacting the hot air passing through the cylinder in a downstream or upstream manner or by making effective contact with the heated wall surface. After drying, the product is discharged from the lower part of the other end. During the drying process, the material moves from the higher end to the lower end under the action of gravity with the help of the slow rotation of the cylinder. A forward shoveling plate is installed on the inner wall of the cylinder, which continuously shovels and sprinkles the material, greatly enhancing the thermal contact surface of the material, improving the drying rate and prompting the material to move forward. After the heat carrier (hot air, flue gas) dries the material, the narrow band of dust is collected by a cyclone dust collector or a pulse dust collector and then discharged.
